Ero già stata in questa struttura un anno fa. In una strada tranquilla ma vicinissima alla metro e ad una sola fermata dal Tower Bridge. È un edificio spartano ma ristrutturato, quindi si presenta moderno e accogliente. Le stanze sono spaziose e il gestore è molto cordiale e parla un italiano perfetto. Dovessi tornare a Londra probabilmente alloggerei di nuovo qui.

Incredible place to stay, great value for money. We received a kind upgrade to a room with a private bathroom. We were able to check in even late in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable, everything felt very new. The breakfast was a great bonus. Family atmosphere. Great communal space.

Perfect location and friendly staff

Close to the City and to Aldgate East station. Anthony, the manager, super friendly and a really nice person willing to satisfy any request we had.

− Unfortunately the lift didn’t work the whole week we stayed there and our room was located at the third floor. A bit uncomfortable after walking all day long.

Unbeatable price/value ratio with the 2 person dorm rooms, can't find anything even similar in the middle of London. Very good transport connections, sights, restaurants nearby. Comfortable beds. There were 2 showers and 1 toilet per gender on the entire floor, across 6 rooms, it was sufficient with the amount of guests we had, never even met anyone in the bathrooms. Towels provided. There's a sink in the room. There is free breakfast which is basically a total exception with hostels in London. Staff was very nice. Absolutely zero noise, very quiet place and area.

− There's a breakfast but nothing to write home about, most basic prepackaged sliced bread, ultraprocessed cold cuts, high sugar content cheapest supermarket jam, basic fruit salad, cereals, basic tea and coffee. But it's free. It's okay if you have an early start of the day (breakfast is only between 8-9am), it saves you some money but it's very unhealthy. (When I lived in a dormitory in my student years, I ate exactly these kind of cheap food, so I guess it's down to personal situations and preferences.) Check out time is unusually early, 9.30am, although you can leave your luggage with them. Be aware there is no AC, in peak summer it must be challenging, but in our case in mid September it was perfectly fine, we kept the window open all night (with 14C outside) to have a good night's sleep. There is no room cleaning during your entire stay, but that's normal for a hostel. Regardless of these "negatives" I still think it's a very good deal, a good price-value ratio to stay here. I'd stay here again.

Anthony was an incredibly kind and helpful host, but the accommodation itself was very basic, more like a college dorm or retirement home." "The lift wasn't working, which was tough with heavy luggage, and there were no amenities like shampoo or toothbrush cups."
