Nice accommodation with a bad breakfast
7.0Quiet accommodation with a small local farm, with friendly animals. The host is kind and explained everything. You can also help feed the animals with him in the morning.
− The breakfast was below our expectations. It was completely self-service, which would not be a problem, but the selection and quality were not good enough. The cute teapots had blackened tea at the bottom (we didn't use any of them), the tea bags were in a glass jar probably a long time ago because they were musty. The only hot food was the boiled eggs, which we also had to cook ourselves. We didn't meet the host during breakfast, as he had indicated upon our arrival. The only good thing about the breakfast was the freshly baked bread.

10.0A perfect stay to end our Lands End to John O Groats Journey. The petting farm and rooms was lovely. We had to leave our tandem bike behind and Cara was helpful in finding us a charity to give bike to. Also went out of her way to give us a lift to Wick to commence our journey home. Thank you so much

Perfect retreat.
10.0Cara is the perfect host. Puffin Cottage is spotless and very comfortable . This is the place to chill. No T. V to disturb you just the sound of nature. The petting farm is idyllic for children ( of ALL ages). Home made bread for breakfast with all you need to start your new day. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. Ian and Margaret

9.0Quiet Peaceful 2 min walk to local pub - Seaview Hotel Responsive host
− Bed was a little on the soft side for my preference We would much prefer a shower in the bathroom, as baths are much less easy to get in & out of.
