Noisy but Nice
6.0Went there 17/7/26 when we arrived we were shown to are table which was in the far corner against a wall which meant not a lot of room for your legs or table top surface. We both ordered drinks and had steak for our main course which we both enjoyed very much, the service was excellent we were going to have dessert but decided not to as a group of people on a adjacent table were so loud it ruined the atmosphere the swearing was totally unnecessary.
A delectable experience
10.0A delightful little gem tucked away and a welcome sight exiting the castle woodlands in Skipton on a very hot summer day. When we walked in looking for a cold drink and food - we were informed that only drinks would be possible as the restaurant prepared for lunch at a later time. We were very warmly welcomed in and as we sipped through our lemonade, the staff provided us with a menu and said they would be happy to take our food orders. We were thrilled! The peri peri chicken burgers were delicious with sumptuous portions! The pub/restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, great artwork displayed across and an eclectic mix of lighting and seating styles. A must visit!
Not what we expected sadly
6.0Good location- quirky
− The stand in manager. Not welcoming at all. Food very sub standard
Lovely stay
8.0Well located near the centre of Skipton. Small Car park to the rear for guests .Staff very friendly and helpful particularly the young woman who showed us to our room and served breakfast. Room spacious and clean..Had an evening meal there which was excellent.Breakfast again excellent wide menu to choose from. Enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate recommend

5.0Location was great. The outside area was lovely to sit in the heat. Dinner was lovely.
− My room…walls had quite a lot of marks. The furniture was very tired looking and required a lick of paint. There was a lot of dust in the lamp shade of the ceiling light. The bedside lamp didn’t work. Toilet roll holder would be better. Definitely not 5 star. More 2/3 star judging by the room.
Great location but disappointing room
6.0Location
