Sadly, we only had one night - would happily have stayed for longer!
9.0Breakfast was excellent - good choice and a lovely meal. The property is well-located - quiet but close to the available facilities of Lochboisdale.
The perfect location for a stay on South Uist
10.0This was a first-class B&B - very comfortable and quiet - excellent breakfast - and our host, Rupert, was very thoughtful and helpful - even lending me a pair of waterproof trousers to cope with the inclement weather for the first few days

10.0Diese Unterkunft ist etwas ganz besonderes. Es gibt eine Lounge mit großen Fenstern und bequemen Sesseln und Sofas. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Er schafft ein besonders angenehmes Ambiente durch die stilvolle Einrichtung, dezente klassische Musik beim Frühstück, nette Unterhaltung. Das Badezimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hat einfach alles gepasst und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider sind wir nur eine Nacht geblieben. Die Fähre nach Mallaig ist nicht weit. Der eigene Parkplatz direkt am Haus ist besonders für Motorradfahrer wichtig.
A great stay with a very good host.
9.0This was not only a comfortable stay in a very well located situation, but Rupert, our host, was a mine of interesting and useful information. I enjoyed his sense of humour and would also recommend his guidebook to the Uists which turned out to be more accurate with locations than the satnav as well as being a good read full of interesting facts. He also cooks a good breakfast to set you up for the day.
