Book with caution, hosts and cleaning personnel are extremely unprofessional and rude.
2.0− Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to poor communication and unprofessional management. Trying to get check in inflation from the hosts was extremely difficult as they DO NOT ANSWER on booking.com. I had to find a number to text through WhatsApp and only got an answer 1hr before check in. When we arrived, we were given an entry code and checked ourselves in. No one greeted us, showed us the apartment, or completed an arrival inspection. We also noticed ants throughout the kitchen upon arrival. Before booking, we contacted the property through Booking.com to ask about the fee for our dog because the listing stated that charges might apply. We never received a response. After we had already been staying at the property for eight days, we suddenly received a WhatsApp message demanding payment for a daily dog fee. We met with the owner the following day, explained that we had tried to clarify this months earlier, and he acknowledged the misunderstanding, told us not to worry about the fee, shook our hands, and said we should “start over.” The following day, however, the property manager/cleaning lady questioned us about our conversation with the owners and became upset when we explained that, due to temperatures exceeding 35°C, we preferred to leave the air conditioning on while we were out. When we returned from the beach later that day, three of the four air-conditioning units had been turned off despite our request that they be left on, and it took hours for the apartment to cool down again. We then asked that no one enter the apartment for the remainder of our stay except to provide fresh towels, and the owners agreed. Checkout was the most concerning part of our stay. We were instructed that someone would inspect the apartment at 10:00 a.m. We notified the owners that we were ready, and the property manager arrived, completed the inspection, confirmed everything was in order, collected the keys, and we left.
