Wonderful location, helpful hosts,
10.0Mike and Sue allowed us to check in early, so we could enjoy a walk up to Devil's Dyke - just turn left out of the front door up on to the South Downs! Fresh milk was much appreciated to make tea and coffee in our room. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast delicious - set us up for the day ahead! Thank you.
A beautiful and memorable stay in a charming 16th-century house, with a delicious breakfast and a warm, professional hos
9.0We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful, with great attention to quality and presentation. The 16th-century house itself is stunning, and we especially loved how the interior has been so carefully preserved to maintain its natural character while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. The host was very friendly, professional, and accommodating, offering flexible check-in times which made our arrival much easier. Overall, a truly delightful and memorable experience.
− Our stay was very enjoyable, with a beautiful breakfast, a stunning historic 16th-century property, and a warm, friendly host who was both professional and flexible with check-in arrangements. The interior is especially lovely, having been well maintained to preserve its original charm. One small suggestion for improvement would be to make it clearer to customers that payment is taken upon arrival rather than in advance, as this would help set expectations and avoid any confusion.
