− These were the creepiest hosts we’ve ever encountered. Without even a greeting or any kind of introduction, they sent us—shortly before check-in—a table listing fees for dogs. We had never indicated anywhere that we would be traveling with a dog. We received no response to our message, and ultimately decided not to stay there at all. Given the situation and concerns about our safety, we made a different reservation at a hotel instead.
