Bon emplacement

− Le gérant peu organisé Le linge de bain troué Les espaces communs sales Le petit-déj servi à 09:30 au réveil du gérant Malgré une réservation pour un petit-déjeuner sans gluten, rien de prévu par le gérant Climatisation bruyante et peu efficace

L'emplacement est vraiment le gros point fort en hyper centre. La vue de la terrasse est magnifique !

− Cafards dans la cour de l'immeuble, pas de wifi et installation vieillotte, c'est dommage car le lieu est magnifique

L’emplacement est très agréable avec vue en 1ère ligne sur la basilique en plein cœur du centre historique depuis la terrasse.

− Personne pour nous accueillir uniquement des échanges par WhatsApp pour récupérer les clés dans un restaurant. Pas d’eau chaude à notre arrivée, climatisation très bruyante et non efficace. Petit déjeuner sans le moindre produit frais mini croissants congelés et pain de mie blanc industriel. Départ sans personne. Une mauvaise expérience dans cet établissement que nous ne recommandons pas.

Promising location but underwhelming experience

Our experience was mixed but overall it was a disappointment. On the positive side, the B&B is in a genuinely fabulous location. The terrace overlooks the facade of the Basilica di Santa Croce, one of the main attractions in Lecce. We mainly had the terrace to ourselves and the view would be hard to match. The location is perfect for walking around the old town, with many excellent restaurants and cafes within easy reach. The host was very accommodating on arrival. He allowed us to drop our bags off well ahead of check-in, despite our room not being ready. Unfortunately, our stay went downhill from there.

− Considering it's a bed and breakfast, the breakfast was the worst we've had by a long margin. On our first morning the host didn't arrive at the agreed time for breakfast and only messaged half an hour later saying he was unwell. He agreed to provide yoghurt and pastries later on but these never appeared. Breakfast on our other days consisted of a couple of mini croissants similar to those you buy frozen in a supermarket, coffee, yoghurt and a slice of torte. On our last day he kept other guests waiting more than half an hour for breakfast and despite saying he'd supply fruit for breakfast he claimed not to have been able to source any. Even the umbrella on the terrace wasn't fixed in place properly and swung wildly in the wind while we tried to eat. At one point in our stay we found some other new guests stranded outside for 40 minutes while they waited for the host to arrive. The B&B also lacked basics, for example there were holes in the towels, there was no iron/ironing board available in the whole place and the room was without even a small fridge to keep a bottle of water cold. It was very hot while we were there and the aircon failed to cool the room adequately.

Emplacement idéal mais prestations moyennes.

L'emplacement, même si du fait de sa position la chambre peut-être bruyante le soir ( prix à payer d'être aux premières loges face à la basilique) .

− Le manque de ponctualité de notre hôte, l'absence de réfrigérateur au moins dans la pièce commune et surtout le petit déjeuner qui est très décevant ( pb de machine à café, pas de fruit ni de pain frais, pas de choix de charcuterie ou d'oeufs au plat).

Amazing location so would return.

− Slightly disorganised owner and not super clean, but I'd go back just as the property is in such an amazing place the owner was lovely and helpful.
