9.0The room was well located and Mary was so lovely. She looked after us and kindly serviced the room every day, accommodating to our needs and lay-ins! Mary was very kind to pick us up from the station, too! The room had all we needed for a short stay, and all toiletries etc provided. The bed was comfy.
Lovely room with ensuite bathroom in an apartment building
10.0The lovely accommodating host, Mary.... who was kind enough to provide transport from the station and back again. Went above and beyond...so friendly. Even kept our milk in her fridge. Room very comfortable and the location very easy to explore Cornwall by train.
− .... the very small kettle .....climbing into the bath to turn tap on

Honest review at Chy Bre Truro
5.0Marry phoned the day before asking if we needed a lift to the place which we said we were ok as our train was arriving early before book in time but was a lovely gestor. The room itself was perfect in what you needed for somewhere to just come back to at night and sleep. Bathroom was perfect! Huge mirror, lovely shower/bath and just an overall good size bathroom. The location of the place you stay was literally around the corner to main part of Truro town so very easy to get to the places we needed to go as we lived in Falmouth for 3 years, so we knew where we were going. Summary: -The room itself was very nice. -The bed was comfy and the bathroom was the best part. With the shower being very relaxing to use and an overall lovely big bathroom. - Marry was very sweet - Location was perfect!
− Sad to say there was a few things that we didn't like about this stay. We were first thrown off guard that it was literally her guess bedroom in a little flat. No where on the booking.com page reads or advertises this! We assumed that this bedroom was like a private hotel type thing by just looking at the page. The hallway in the flat itself is very small so if someone or Marry was in the hall and spoke it was very loud. The rooms and walls where quite tight and thin so we felt like we couldn't really talk at a normal volume as we didn't want to be rude as we are a very respectful couple/guests. Another thing not advertised is that she comes into your room each morning and cleans. This might be a benefit for a few people which is great, however for us this isn't really a feature we liked as it would lead to her touching our stuff. My partner and I are quite clean/tidy people anyways so each time we left the room we would always straighten up the room, make the bed and clean behind us as that's just how we live anyway. So, we didn't think it was necessary for someone to go into the room without us not being there. Because she goes into the room this lead her also throwing away my food which I was saving to eat when I returned to the room. I was quite upset that she threw away my lunch without asking. The free Wi-Fi wasn't the best as you can barely watch YouTube and my mobile data was faster. I also recommend bringing your own hair dryer if you have thick hair as it was barley the size of my hand and has no strong air flow to dry hair. There was no terrace so very confused on that advertising? Also, the 'fresh pastries and fruits' sadly isn't the case and is very much old bought breakfast that we never touched. Lastly the advertise for 'garden views' not really the case as your bedroom view is just a outside walkway and other apartments.
