Al Muhalra is a very well run, v clean and super friendly small hotel/bnb. It suits anyone who is looking to stay in
9.0Location, breakfast, staff. Personal service. Cleanliness of rooms , bed comfort and whole hotel generally.
− Some drilling maintenance was happening during stay but it was during daytime so didn’t really bother me and my room was in fact extremely quiet aside from this occasional noise which wasn’t every day also. As other reviews have mentioned, bathroom was old fashioned but the trade off for these things is all the hugely positive points I’ve mentioned - you can’t have it all and I feel some customers who clearly don’t check reviews are expecting a 4 or 5 star hotel when in reality they probably should go to a bigger commercial place for that type of experience and pay the relevant price for that.

8.0A wonderful place in Tavira! The biggest highlights are definitely the great central location and the lovely staff. The breakfasts are delicious, rich and fresh (huge variety - from scrambled eggs to homemade cakes and fruit).
− Bathroom ceiling paint falling apart. Loud construction noise throughout the day without a forewarning before we made reservations or checked in.
