Goed, maar enkele kritiekpunten
7.0Mooie grote kamer. Goed ingerichte keuken. Fijne host.
− Ontbijt was niet goed. Veel te beperkt. Ventilator was defect, nieuwe kwam volgende dag binnen, maar toch een dag en nacht in hitte gezeten, kamer onder de hanenbalken. Erg heet dus.
Good accommodation, accurately described.
10.0Beautiful setting, accommodation was spotless and comfortable. Lovely breakfast included.
Heerlijk appartement op het Engelse platteland.
8.0Rustige ligging in een prachtige tuin.
− N.v.t.

A wonderful surprise !
8.0Good location, amazing hospitality from Natalie and Rich, very cosy and comfortable lodge. Great atmosphere.
− Breakfast could have a little bit more options ( some cheese or charcuterie).
Should/could have been perfect - close but a few niggles
8.0Peaceful rural location with its own large pond. We had the good luck to see the Grey Heron turn up for its breakfast hunt around 0830 ish. The hosts provided Logs and kindling for the wood burner. A very modern downstairs kitchen. Plus, Milk, loads of different cereals, butter, bread, a wide range of T bags, yoghurt, and a carton of orange juice. Comfy double bed, pillows and duvet. The bathroom is spacious, with a fantastic shower - a joy to use—and private parking near the accommodation entrance.
− Difficult (hunched over) access to one side of the bed, with a high likelihood of bumping one's head due to the pitch of the ceiling. No lighter or matches for the wood burner, and one of the protective gloves had been rendered unfit for purpose because a previous user had scorched it to a crisp. To maintain our independence, we would have liked instructions on removing ash from the firetray, along with the necessary tools. There are no tables or chairs in the kitchen, so the slightly windy stairs must be navigated to eat in the upstairs bedroom area and to take used cups and plates back downstairs for washing up. Tricky with a full tray of drinks and food. One or two other easily remedied niggles, like no salt or pepper (who brings their own), plus, we didn't seem to be able to control the room temperature with the digital thermostat - hence needed to light the fire.
