Really enjoyed our stay and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

− There’s nothing not to like about it. The only thing I would change is swapping the dressing table around with the tea making facilities in room 8 to give more room to get to the shower room.

Comfortable accommodation next to an excellent & friendly pub/restaurant in a lovely part of the UK.
9.0The property is next to the pub and the security, atmosphere, staff, community and food were all excellent, with convenient and free parking. The room was spacious, bed comfy and shower excellent - facilities generally very good with big TV, fans, heaters etc. The dressing room area had space but maybe needs a few coat hangers and/or drawers for clothes. Both breakfast and dinner were superb despite a busy period. We would definitely go back...
− The only minor issue was that the 'pls make up my room' door hanger and property description gave an expectation of daily housekeeping service but nothing for 3 nights so no clearing away glasses/cups or top-up of biscuits/tea/coffee etc. Not end of world as there were spare towels and we dropped cups back to the pub but maybe not as some may expect. Our value only impacted as the £120/night price reflected The Open Golf weekend but the usual £85-95/night is excellent value...

9.0Lovely clean room. Really nice pub that serves delicious food plus a Chinese restaurant above it & a pizza van out on the green (this may only be on Fridays). Dog friendly & great location for walks along the canal. Staff were really friendly. We both had the big English breakfast which was £15 each with unlimited cups of tea & coffee plus fruit juice. Breakfast served 9.30 - 11am at weekends.
− We were in a room at the front and as it was a summers night & there were people sat at the tables outside. We had to keep the windows open as it was very warm so you could hear the chatter etc from outside. It didn't really bother us but could be an issue for others.
