Superb Native Bush Retreat!
9.0The native bush, bird life, wood fire, and clever architectural design of the retreat which allows for an abundance of natural light, and optimal viewing of the outdoor environment. A great place to relax and unwind with family, friends, and loved ones, without all the modern day distractions. Loved it!
− The fan on the fire was very noisy, and not running smoothly on some settings. I think it may need adjusting? The blankets whilst clean need airing out to freshen them up a bit.

− The accommodation is dated and needs to be upgraded. The wood burning fireplace does not heat the cabin well and there is no rug in the living room so it felt cold. It feels like everything is due to be refreshed and upgraded.

9.0Well equipped and beautiful design
− We had trouble finding the property because the last sign was not immediately obvious from the road. It would be helpful if the sign was on Tapanappa Road.

10.0Das Southern Ocean Retreat Cottage Nr. 2 bietet optimale Rahmenbedingungen um Ruhe zu finden und die Schönheit der Fleurieu Peninsula und insbesondere des Deep Creek National Parks zu genießen. Wir haben 5 Nächte in diesem herrlichen Cottage verbracht. Das Cottage ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und die Betten bequem. Wir haben unerwartet kalte Temperaturen gehabt und konnten von daher die Gemütlichkeit des Kamins genießen. Ein schnelles Aufheizen ermöglicht aber auch die Klimaanlage und die Betten sind mit Heizdecken ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern Jane und Barry klappte hervorragend und war sehr informativ.
