− We were unlucky with air conditioning but our host to accommodate around it to keep us comfortable

9.0The property is very quirky and the staff are very helpful. They serve a great breakfast on a lovely terrace and the ladies were lovely.
− Was difficult to find even with google maps. The area is very bohemian and felt a little on the rough side late at night.
El Stanza al Genio is a place we'd highly recommend if you ever want to visit Palermo!
10.0El Stanza al Genio di Darlon was such a unique place to stay! It housed an artisanal and antique tile museum and each room was decorated with unique, hand-painted tiles on the walls. The location in La Kalsa neighborhood of the historic center was extremely convenienct because so many of the best sites were within walking distance and it was also only a short walk to Palermo Centrale train station. But more than all of that, the staff was exceptional. Our concierge, Giorgia, went above and beyond to help us make arrangements and gave us local tips. The breakfast staff, Andrea & Milana, were SO friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the private terrace was amazing and something we looked forward to every morning.

10.0It was a beautiful stay. The place was stunning and incredibly well located. The breakfast was also great. We were looked after very well by Giorgia who also helped us try to find a phone we thought we left behind (which we found later). Excellent stay all round.

10.0Superbe appartement , tout confort et meublé avec goût ! Petit déjeuner délicieux , bonnes adresses de restos et autres lieux … localisation en plein centre ancien de Palerme , parfait !
