9.0The location and grounds were superb. The room itself was excellent and lovely. The hosts were brilliant, kind, friendly, and respectful. Breakfast was included, and what a delight. The homemade museli was delicious. The homemade cookies were yummy. I wished we had been able to eat more of the food provided. It was very generous. The shower and toilet etc were excellent and accessible.
− The sofa bed was uncomfortable and may have needed a topper. The large bed was too firm for our liking.

Superb
9.0Beautiful place to stay; luxurious feeling throughout. So vastly different from the norms. And there was a bonus of freshly baked biscuits and fudge brownies and a whole lot more.
− The place is about 3 km away from waipapa township; it's quite dark at night as there were no streetlights.
