1.0The bed linen was clean as was the toilet / shower / washbasin.
− Door locked on arrival(15.00hrs) fortunately existing guest arrived with a key. Young man appeared from the back saying they had tried to contact customers but there had been a problem with booking.com. This “hotel “ changed hands apparently 4 weeks ago. Apparently they do not do breakfasts!!! Shown to my room, there were NO towels, the cups on the tray were appallingly stained, the young man rectified this. I later discovered dirty tissues , paper, cheap costume ring under the bed ( obviously nobody had moved the bed to hoover) and the bathroom bin had not been emptied and was half full of ??? I was assured by the young man that he would be on the premises overnight, I was then disturbed from 01.30am until 04.30am with the most horrendous noise, banging on doors , foul language etc which was very frightening as I am 78 and travelling alone. I contemplated phoning the young man but if he couldn’t here the racket I doubt if he would have heard his phone, I usually stay in the Dovedale across the road which I can’t fault but I think it was full when I tried to book. This is the first time I have given a bad review so I’m not a regular moaner.

10.0What i loved about my stay was the fact that everything is in walking distance and you can park your car at the back of the b&b in a car park and leave it at ease all your stay ..the lady was a lovely friendly and kind lady ..the breakfast was lovely too
