Delightful Dartmouth getaway
8.0We had at 3 night stay here and really loved our room! We really liked the location on Market Square, and weren’t affected by noise from outside, the loudest sounds being the seagulls which wake very early! Dartmouth is pretty compact so everything is in easy walking distance. Parking is challenging but we were lucky enough to get a free space outside the property, on the road, and didn’t use the car during our stay, so no issues there. The room isn’t massive, but we loved the fresh modern decor, the handy fridge and the spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with high quality bedding, A couple of small folding tables either side of the bed might be a useful option. It was all very clean and had everything we wanted 😊 For breakfast we went to a couple of delightful cafes at the end of the street in the courtyard area - Jenny Koos and Greek Delight - would recommend both for sitting outside on a sunny morning with a coffee and breakfast 👍
− Some kind of shelf in the shower would be handy, but not a major issue
Great guest house in a very central location
8.0Central location just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour. Decent size room, good shower and comfy bed!
− Very close to a lively pub, wouldn’t put me off staying but in the summer with windows open and people out on the street it’s noisy until closing time.
Conveniently located to all the shops and restaurants in Dartmouth...
7.0Breakfast options aplenty - Alf resco....was awesome
− The iron provided needs either cleaned or replaced -it left dirty marks on the clothes i was trying to iron.
Lovely room in the heart of Dartmouth
8.0Lovely room. Clean, nicely decorated and the bathroom is spacious. Balcony is lovely and the location is great.
− Nothing we didn’t like but a few things would be welcome additions - a fan, particularly in the hot weather as the room gets the sun all day so it was warm without one. A later checkout time would be appreciated as 10am is quite early. Also the fresh milk left was a lovely touch but was gone off and we didn’t have any long life so couldn’t use the coffee or tea facilities.
