Great base to explore Norfolk we visited Sandringham and national trust estates hosts were really friendly and a great breakfast 😊

Checking in process was good and efficient, room and bathroom good although shower was tight fit. The access to the Indian restaurant was a lovely surprise and had a great meal there. Bed was comfortable although the bedside lights didn’t work. Having breakfast in the mill was a real pleasure, the breakfast and the choice beat many 5star hotels we have stayed in and the breakfast was amazing and so was the service

Fabulous Building with a lot of history, Great Location and Great Value for money

Checking in was dealt with by text and we were told by Darren exactly how to get in and where our room was. The room was very pretty, a Lot of attention to detail in the co-ordinating colours of furniture, cushions, coasters etc. Unbeknown to us at the time we were greeted by the owners daughter and a friend as we took our overnight bag to our room. There was good off road parking and it was ideal to meet family from Dereham for a meal at Rani's, the neighbouring Indian Restaurant. Darren instructed us to text him our breakfast time and order for the next day. The Information file in the room contained details of the history of the building which was very interesting to read and a nice touch. Next morning breakfast was served on the first floor of the windmill, so we got to see the inside of it. It was a lovely dining room, full of character. Julie cooked our breakfast as ordered, while we helped ourselves to cereal and toast. Food was lovely and plentiful, the mill and bedroom block has a really lovely, relaxed feel about it. If we are ever in the area again we will do our best to stay here. Before we left the dining room, the owner appeared and explained that she lived on the two upper floors of the mill and had purchased it in March this year. For having it for only four months, we thought she had done an excellent job and wished her well for the future.

A good value over weekend stay ,would return if the proposed refurbishment takes place.

Breakfast was served and reasonable amount ,they did have oat milk available which was good. Nice room in the old mill building nice Indian restaurant on site which was very handy and cool on a very warm evening

− The bathroom which was not in a good condition and smaller than was comfortable but we are aware the a refurbishment is on going.
