The host was welcoming... and the rooms were clean!
5.0The rooms were clean. However, the breakfast choice was limited and the host has very set ideas of which foods should be eaten - there was no choice of milk/orange juice, unpasteurised milk is not ideal. No choice of bread either and seeded is not a preferred choice.
− We thought this was a Suite, as advertised, but really it is two separate bedrooms and a bathroom for use on the same floor as the host (who has her own bathroom). Too much discussion re. governmental issues etc. (which may or may not have validity) - we were hoping to have a relaxing short break!

5.0Nice well appointed modern house in traditional style and spotlessly clean.
− Thought we were booking the house to ourselves and would be free to use the kitchen to cook and store food etc. Hadn't realised we were sharing with the host so access to the kitchen wasn't appropriate. Nothing wrong with this, maybe I made a mistake but I don't think it was clear in the advert.
Interesting host with strong beliefs rather eccentric but charming lady who seemed to enjoy opening up her home to guest
7.0Quaint with a with a beautiful garden which smelt wonderful. Was in a nice part of the town too.
