Great stay if a bit warm but spot on beer and a great welcome.
9.0Breakfast is not provided anymore even though it appears in various places. We just went over the road to the bakery. Upon arrival wee were booked in very quickly and told were our room was. It was a good size with tea/coffee facilities. Luckily we had a walk in shower as opposed to some other rooms. This would have been a problem for me as I cannot get into a bath anymore for a shower. Bathroom was clean enough. Have to say that the cold tap water was a bonus and so fresh. We stayed during the heatwave and took a fan with us although one was also provided but still too warm. We wondered if it would be too noisy but fortunately you didn't hear the bar upstairs. The Deception beer was spot on so we were well looked after and received 10% discount for staying there. All the pubs are within walking distance but we drank here as it had the best ale for us. The bus station is a few yards down the road so on our first day we jumped on a bus to Bakewell. The bed was very comfy and we managed some sleep even though it was so hot. Barman was very chatty and helpful.
− Breakfast would have been good but obviously not a real issue due to the bakery. We were supplied with plenty of milk pots so just managed and the tea was Yorkshire Tea - so a nice strong cuppa. No real downside as we got what we paid for and were glad of a parking space.

− Room 5 a bit noisy as above the bar but it was hot so had window open so it was noisy with people outside I am sure it wouldn’t have been as noisy if windows were close
