De ligging aan het water

− De spinnen in het bed, geen bar, te weinig koffiepads en we hadden de jacuzzi besteld maar die was te warm gestookt. We kregen ons geld wel terug.

Eine super schöne Unterkunft mit einem wunderbaren Außenbereich. Direkt am Wasser gelegen und sehr ruhig. Toll war auch der kostenlose Parkplatz. Man ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten am Strand/ Hafen und Supermärkte sind einige in der Nähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder

The hotel is located in a pleasant and quiet area by the canal, away from the busy city centre, which we really appreciated. We also liked the idea of converting an old barn into a hotel – it has a lot of character and potential. However, we feel that the property is now in need of some refreshing and better maintenance.

− Unfortunately, our stay did not meet the expectations of a 4-star property advertised as "Luxury." The room could have been cleaner. There were stains on the carpet, and both the towels and bed linen looked yellowed. We were also surprised to find that only hand soap was provided, with no shampoo. The most concerning issue was that our son found a small piece of broken glass on the carpet, which could have been dangerous. The room was also very warm. The only way to get fresh air was to open the window, but that let mosquitoes in. In addition, the emergency exit light stayed on throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. We were also provided with only six coffee capsules for four nights. Additional capsules were available only for an extra charge. Another disappointment was the extra €10 charge for the barbecue gas. There was no information about this fee before or during the booking process as well as in the information folder in the hotel, so it came as an unexpected cost. Finally, there was no indoor area where guests could sit and eat a meal, which we did not expect from a property of this standard. Overall, while the location and the concept of the hotel are very appealing, the overall experience did not reflect the quality we expected from a 4-star property described as "Luxury." We hope the management addresses these issues, as the hotel has the potential to offer a much better guest experience.
