10.0ArendsRus is in a beautiful location. The hospitality and facilities are perfect for a short or longer stay, when one wants to be spoilt but also enjoy nature and the peace and quiet. The staff were lovely as were the meals.
Mould problem and poor customer experience
4.0Warm welcome and pretty area
− The lodge had a strong mould smell throughout, especially in the main bedroom and bathroom. Overnight, we experienced tight chests, itchy eyes and persistent coughing, and my wife had to take medication to relieve her symptoms. As we were travelling with our two young children, one of whom has asthma, we did not feel it was safe to stay. We requested either suitable alternative accommodation or a refund, but neither was provided, so we had to arrange and pay for accommodation elsewhere. See photo evidence of the mould. Very disappointing experience and poor handling of a serious issue.
