Fabulous! The overall experience exceeded all expectations.

The accommodation was second to none. Daniel travels all around the country for work and he has rated the hospitality extended by Barbara as exceptional. Though he was unable to stay for breakfast he rated the food based on looks and smell alone, again as exceptional. He has made a mental note that should he be fortunate to stay at Remus in the future then to allow time for breakfast.

For us it's a home from home. They have even added a handrail next to the outside steps since we were last there. We have stayed there 3 times now. The proprietress is very helpful & a brilliant cook, the premises is all ground floor, the Livery Services barn, horses & fields are pleasant. Birds include sparrows, swifts, wood-pigeon, & flocks of birds wheeling over the trees at sunset. Green grass sitting areas outside the rooms with tables & chairs.

− Not quite enough surface on the little handbasin for toiletries, eg, toothpaste & sponge as well as the hand wash pump that is already provided, but otherwise we can't think of anything we don't like.

The room was wonderful! The robes, slippers, and goodies in the fridge were a nice touch. Barbara is an amazing hostess who generously serves her guests. Loved the breakfasts! Her tips on places to see were terrific. My wife and I really enjoyed getting to know Barbara!

OMG. All I can say is WOW. I stayed fir 2 nights and would have stayed longer if I could have. My room was luxury plus. The room was a good size. The decor was divine. I had a private bathroom with a really strong hot shower which was wonderful after a full day of exploring. I had a little deck with table and chairs. Unfortunately it rained so I couldntbuse it, but tge guest loungroom was beautiful. My room had lots of storage, a huge 4 poster bed, and an enormous bkack feamed mirror which I wanted to take home to Australia but couldn't outfit in my handbag lol. Two gorgeous bedside lamps, a mini fridge where I could keep a few things cold, some snacks which were a lovely surprise, some bottles of water, a bottle of bubbly (which I didn't use but was a nice touch), a packet of cream biscuits which went down well with the delicious sachets of cappuccino, and a small carton of milk....Barbara had really gone above and beyond as a host. I needed to keep some medication cold during the day, and she offered to put my freezer packs in her own freezer. Barbara was a lovely host. Nothing was too much trouble and there was a great selection of breakfast items.

− There was only one thing that I thought coukd be added..... there was no power point (that I could see) in the bathroom or near that beautiful big mirror. I was able to use the powerboard next to the bed, but that meant I had to stand a distance away from the mirror. A suggestion would be to have an extension chord for the hair-dryer.
