Ein Ort in dem viel Herz steckt. Gabiella genießt ihre GästInnen, was sich sehr auf die Atmosphäre auswirkt. Wunderbar authentisch, gemütlich und entspannt. Im Garten gibt es überall Sitzgelegenheiten, Hängematten, Hängesessel um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Wer kein Problem damit hatt ein paar Blätter aus der Hängematte zu schütteln bevor man sich’s drin gemütlich macht (ja, Blätter gehören zu einem Garten und Blätter fallen von Bäumen) ist hier genau richtig! Gabriellas Garden ist keine seelenlose Luxus-Hotelkette sondern ein echter Ort an dem die Menschen zählen. Come as you are wird hier gelebt! Um kreativ zu werden stehen einem jederzeit Materialien zur Verfügung, von Gitarre bis zu Malunterlagen ist alles dabei. Auch konnte ich mir hier meinen kleinen Traum vom “draußen schlafen ohne Zelt” erfüllen, was fast kitschig schön war!! Ich bin mit hoppelnden Kaninchen vor mir aufgewacht, was gibt’s besseres? Der Strand ist nur wenige Meter von der Unterkunft entfernt und das Wasser ist super zum schnorcheln und entdecken. Sowohl Erwachsene als auch Kinder haben hier eine gute Zeit. Wenn man mehr von der Insel sehen möchte ist es jedoch ratsam ein Auto zu mieten. Ich habe meine Zeit hier sehr genossen und möchte mich hiermit für die netten Gespräche, die Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und die Offenheit bedanken!

Une hôte de belle facture, investie et de la même couleur que son établissement , c'est a dire colorée et chaleureuse. Les équipements sont spartiates mais conformes à l'annonce. Nous pensons que nous sommes arrivés à un moment délicat de la saison et de l'histoire de cet établissement..... sincèrement en bout de course. On est proche d'un moment exceptionnel et haut en couleur mais déceptif dans ce contexte. Un dîner authentique........ A dû faire beaucoup mieux et mérite plus.

I am currently on a long summer vacation travelling the Greek islands. I have stayed in some superb accommodations including highly rated hotels. It was time to move on from a previous accommodation and whilst searching on booking.com I found GABRIELLAS Gardens. I wanted to try something different… something rugged, authentic and rural and it appeared by the photos and descriptions that I saw on booking.com that Gabriella’s could be such a place. Upon arrival I was delighted to see that everything was as stated… however in actual fact it was much better. The small resort or complex is a reminder of how Greek communities would have lived for example 100 years ago (but with some modern technologies of course). Beautifully set at the foot of a small horse shoe shaped mountain range and just 100 metres from the beach, I knew as soon as I arrived that I had found something different… something special. I remember as a child going into the Troodos mountains in Cyprus and seeing similar nature and dwellings… I loved it then and I love it now. Gabriellas Gardens is the epitome of nature, culture and tranquility. The guests that stay at the gardens become a community and often arrange ‘things to do’ like excursions etc. Everyone gets on with everyone and indeed it is like being part of a family group. Many of the guests will meet up in the evening for a drink and a chat… gaining ideas of trips around the island to discussing the various countries and cultures that they come from. Indeed on some evenings there can be internally inspired events… for example a girl currently staying here is a professional belly dancer from Argentina and gave us a show of her skills one evening! However if you prefer to spend time by yourself, then that is fine as that is comfortably facilitated here if you so wish. There is a guy currently staying here and has been for some weeks. He for the most part he keeps himself to himself as he seeks creativity for his art work.

Immerso nel verde e proprietari disponibili e ospitali

− La stanza che ci è stata assegnata era senza pavimento e il cemento era coperto in parte da tappeti. Disponeva di due finestrini con inserita una rete (tutta rotta e sporca) per non fare entrare le zanzare che la notte non facevano dormire! Il bagno (1mt per 1 mt) sempre senza pavimento disponeva di un wc dove sopra e’ stato messo un doccino e un piccolissimo lavello. Spesso l’ acqua per fare la doccia fredda (nel lavandino l’acqua calda non c era). La notte dalla bocchetta del pavimento uscivano scarafaggi. L’angolo cottura in condivisione con le altre stanze fatiscente.
