− I get that the lights outside our room were kept on mostly for our security and convenience. Maybe having thicker blackout curtains can help dim the room better during sleeping time.

The room was very quiet and private. The staff was very helpful and personable. Extremely clean.

− The hotel is still rebuilding from a bad typhoon. Expect more stairs and walking during your visit. It didn't bother us but this could be a problem for some people.

These are some of the nicest folks I’ve met in the Philippines. Small female owned farm(Miss maya) who provides such care and wonderful hospitality. It’s a farm for vegetables but also for smiles. Stayed for 10 days and became family. Love you guys. Good luck with everything and will return very soon.

Nothing. We did not stay.

− Accessibility is awful. You have to go down some long, very steep stairs after which you land on very rocky terrain. You could easily sprain your ankle going through those rocks. Walk several yards to get to the actual hotel building. Then more stairs to get to your unit. We tried to cancel our reservation but owner won’t allow it. THE CONDITIONS ARE UNSAFE and UNSATISFACTORY. We are senior citizens and not risking injuries or falls getting to the room. The owner says we should have inquired first. Really? Isn’t there a normal expectation of safety? We were told that the bamboo bridge that connects the parking lot to the hotel was damaged from the typhoon last year. It’s been months and they have not repaired the bridge? If so, they should not have been open for business until they have restored the property. Shame on the owner. I can only conclude that the owner is unethical and greedy. We did not stay and went to a different hotel.

Nice Host doesn't make up for comfort in this instance.

Our host was very nice.

− The place is in a terrible state. It needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard. If you have very big suitcases, beware as you have to walk a very steep stair to get to the main house. In all the rooms we've stayed , toilets and bathrooms were not working properly. We were on the second floor but we were asked to use the third floor toilet which was dirty and toilet not flushing. The futons were uncomfortable. The rooms had very big glass windows that you are woken quite early as the curtains were not blackouts. It would certainly be nice to wake up early if there's a nice view to look out to. There was roach in our bathroom and spiders on the corridor which scared my daughter who wanted to leave but it was evening and places we looked at were fully booked so we had to stay put. The breakfast we were offered was rather measly. I don't eat much but I was still hungry. There were 6 of us so no excuse of not preparing for that number. There were no fruits, cereal, tea or milk. Food was nicely presented on banana leaf plates, but more of the substance rather than the form please. Beware as well that there is a parking fee of 200 which is quite cheeky as the parking is not secure at all, it is on the main road and far away from the property. You can't take a bus or jeep ride to get to the property at all and to be charged a parking fee? Out of our 5 days booking, we only stayed for 2 nights. It could be a nice place but not at the moment.
