The Highlights: Exceptional Hospitality The standout feature of this B&B is undoubtedly the host, Raphael. He is incredibly accommodating and truly bends over backwards to meet his guests' needs. His dedication to ensuring we had a good stay was highly appreciated, and we want to say a sincere thank you for his warm hospitality and effort. Overall Verdict If you are looking for a host who genuinely cares and will do everything he can to help you, Raphael is fantastic. With a few minor adjustments to the amenities and a clearer description of the cooling facilities, B&B Calabria has the potential to be a stellar place to stay.
− Areas for Improvement While Raphael’s hosting is top-tier, there are a few aspects of the property and service that could be improved to match his efforts: The Breakfast Experience: While the terrace offers picturesque views, the breakfast served there unfortunately fell short, with items that were barely edible. Thankfully, Raphael offers a great alternative: a voucher for a nearby café where you get a coffee, a bottle of water, and a fresh pastry (usually a croissant). We highly recommend opting for the café breakfast instead. Air Conditioning Clarification: The property is advertised as having air conditioning, but during our stay, it seemed that fans were intended to serve this purpose. This listing description needs to be revised to avoid misleading future guests. In-Room Entertainment: There are currently no TVs in the rooms. Adding them would be a simple way to provide some entertainment for guests looking to wind down and rest. Basic Amenities: The rooms would benefit from a few extra touches, specifically providing shampoo in the shower and having an iron available for guests to press their clothes.

9.0very good breakfast at the cafe vis-a-vis, good common room with coffee maker, fridge. The host hefted my luggage up to the room, made me feel a little my nearly seventy years.

The building that houses the B&B, located in the village of Diano di Scigliano, was built in the early 1800s.
From 1934 to 1993, a wood-fired bakery operated on the warehouse floors, serving the entire village of Scigliano and the surrounding area.
It is in these renovated, renovated, and adapted ground-floor rooms on a public road that we decided to open our B&B.
A terrace with a splendid view of the valley below is available for breakfast and sunbathing on hot days (solarium). The uniqueness of the B&B Calabria lies in the ground-floor rooms, located in the old family bakery. These spaces enjoy very pleasant natural air conditioning from May to October, as our area is located halfway between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Sila mountains. Another unique feature is the terrace where breakfast is served, with a breathtaking view of the natural landscape with the surrounding valley and the medieval convent (now a retirement home).Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
