Open hearted hosts. Offered us a better room for free, a parking place. Clean towels and bed linen. Soviet furniture and vibe. Common places like kitchen, living room where you can work, terrace. Overall very good for the price.

Tout était parfait, chambre propre, grande et avec un ventilateur. Cuisine équipée, bouilloire, frigo. Grande salle de bain propre. Hôte très sympathique. Supérette à quelques mètres de la guesthouse.

Понравилось всё! Чудесные хозяева, приветливые и доброжелательные, ненавязчивые.Прекрасный дом. Тихий район, шикарный сад. Очень уютно и душевно. Утром нас угостили своим лавашом и яйцами. В пешей доступности ( 2 мин от дома) магазин со всем необходимым.

A friendly family runs the hostel. Laundry facilities and a kitchen are available. There's plenty of space to relax inside and out. A shop is very close by.

hosts who don't understand how it works

Kitchen had pans, pots, and cups. The linen was fresh. Towels were provided and toilet paper was always in the bathroom.

− So many things could have been better. There was no salt or sugar or tea in the kitchen. A little bit of these things were provided upon asking. However later I saw that when a local guest stayed in for two nights, the host filled in everything for them. More sugar, salt, and even pepper and paprika was put for them which they didn't even use because they weren't cooking. It was sad to see the hosts differentiate between their guests like this. I felt like a beggar for having to ask for such basic things and then receive a couple of tea bags, a dismal amount of loose tea in an open cup, and so on. The host was quick to point out to me that I had to keep the kitchen clean as there were other guests. I didn't mind it. I was in a hurry in the morning and hadn't washed my dishes. But the local guests, two men, kept the bathroom dirty, and I showed this to the host. I asked her to request the guests to flush the toilet after use. duh. But she didn't ask them. in fact she shushed me and said no I will clean it you don't worry. How could I call her every time? So sometimes I had to use the dirty toilet. The guests smoked so much everything smelled of smoke but of course they didn't say anything to them as they were locals. The host also kept coming up to switch off lights all the time. She even one time pointed to me to close that door and to keep the slippers at exactly that point which was so rude. you can't do that to your guests. I was going to do that all on my own but she didn't give me the time. She also came up with baskets of laundry which she had to dry on the terrace but for this she crossed through the guest space all the time. No privacy. The male host can come a bit too close physically and shouldn't do that. The hosts are simple people who are just trying to make some money running a homestay. They don't understand that good reviews come from genuine kindness, help, and comfort.
