Five stars for the Bayside Boutique Retreat and another five for the host!
10.0Mel's place is a little piece of paradise close to the bay, shops, cafes and (most importantly) golf courses. We often don't sleep well when we're away and miss home as we're walking out our door - we didn't have either issue for this break - mainly due to the lovely surroundings and level of comfort at Mel's place. Apart from being well situated, we found the layout and amenities to be perfect for us. The garden was beautiful and the lovely little touches Mel left for us were really appreciated. Sometimes the host is big part of making a stay special. Mel is a superstar - thoughtful, lovely to talk to and really took the time to make sure we had a pleasant stay. We have never met a better host. We couldn't rate Mel, or her lovely abode, any higher.
Enjoyed our stay, and it suited our purpose.
9.0Breakfasts were as we requested. Coffee machine and lots of coffee pods. Washing machine for doing our own laundry. Always had hot water in the shower. Being able to sit outside in a quiet courtyard for meals.
− No TV connection unless you use your own account. Kitchen too cluttered. Mosquito drape over bed a bit of a nuisance. Should be tied up out of the way.
