10.0Wunderschöne Lage, Zimmer top mit herrlicher Aussicht, sehr zuvorkommender und äusserst freundlicher Junior Chef, hundefreundlich, Morgenessen auf der Piazza, also eigentlich war alles top!
− Alles war wunderbar, ich kann nichts kritisieren. Möchte man auf hohem Niveau etwas verbessern, dann könnte die Küchensusstattung im Zimmer etwas erweitert werden, z. B. Weingläser, Schneidebrett, Brotmesser.

9.0Petit hôtel charmant donnant sur le lac de Mergozzo. Gentillesse du personnel. Petit déjeuner inclus qui comprend un croissant, café et jus d’orange pressé. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon.
− Dommage qu’il n’y avait pas de stores occultants dans la chambre, car nous étions réveillés le matin par la lumière du jour. Parking de l’hôtel payant (20€/jour).

Wonderful time in a wonderful placep
10.0CasaCastagna1620 is a very beautiful and friendly place. The house overlooks Lago Mergozzo. The rooms are large, at least ours was, with seaview. The rooms have all modern comfort and a beautiful shower, but still breathe the age of 400 years of the house. Yet they are modern and very tastefully furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Andrea, the owner's son, taught us a lot about cheese during a tasting in their own cellars in the house. In spite of his young age, he has an enormous knowledge of cheese and wines and one can feel his passion for it. The restaurant offers very fresh and wonderful dishes and dinner in the house was a wonderful time and experience. The house is very decent, not necessarily budget 😆, you feel very welcome and yet, it has a friendly family atmosphere and is not at all snobbish or posh. Not at all. We left full of nice memories but also a bit of sadness because we would have loved to stay longer. Thank you Andrea and thank you to your staff.
