A wonderful host, highly convenient location, beautiful facility and memorable stay
10.0We can’t say enough, good things about this villa. From the warm welcome the host extended to us, to the beautiful room, scenic views and charming home, to the goodies provided for snacking, everything was excellent. The breakfasts were superb, maybe the best food of our whole trip. Most important, Kay was so generous with her knowledge of the area and so helpful and helping us to get around. Truly, staying here was one of the highlights of our trip, and I heartily recommend it.

10.0It’s lovely treasure house ,there are beautiful art collections in the house the owner of the house is very hospitable, and very kind give me ride to the town .
Old time charm and hospitality
10.0We really enjoyed our 2 nights at Maungakawa Villa. Lovely old villa full of character in a beautiful setting with beautiful gardens. We had a very warm welcome from Kaye with a bottle of French rose and some delicious cheeses to help us unwind after a long drive. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast.Ideal for exploring Cambridge and Lake Karapiro. We also enjoyed relaxing in the spa pool. Loved the Tui painting in our room.

10.0Absolutely stunning stay. The hot tub was brilliant, the room was superb, and the views were unreal. The gardens are beautiful and the whole place is incredibly tasteful and exquisitely done. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. Kaye is a superb host with a great personality, incredibly helpful, and made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was outstanding and set us up perfectly for the day. You get what you pay for and this was worth every cent. Could not fault it in any way. We will absolutely stay again and next time we will be bringing our friends.
