Charming and comfy stay
8.0The room was very spacious. Everything looked a bit outdated, but it was in good condition and was quite charming. I liked the balcony with the view of the lake. The room has all the necessary amenities and a big TV. You can choose from different items at breakfast, such as boiled eggs, cold cuts, and salads, or opt for hot options like scrambled eggs and two different types of sausages. The waiters at the restaurant are kind and speak English very well.
− I don't think this is exclusively a hotel issue, but also an issue with Booking.com. Because the hotel doesn't accept payments through the platform, you have to pay once you arrive. The problem for me is that it is hard to remember which places I have already paid for, so it feels a bit shocking at times. Booking should have clear reminders when you are required to pay at the hotel. The other thing is that they only provide small sachets of shower gel, and the shower is positioned quite high above the ground for some reason. Furthermore, the curtains should block off the windows as well as the exit to the balcony; they do not block the light at all, and the window blinds don't work very well either. Finally, there is no reception desk, so you have to walk through the restaurant tables to approach the bar. This would be quite uncomfortable if you were carrying a large suitcase.
