Située en hauteur, au cœur de la jungle, un peu excentrée de la rue principale, la chambre est très spacieuse et possède une belle terrasse. Un lieu plein de quiétude... La salle de bain est récente, moderne et le tout était très propre. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et savoureux. Nous avons passé 3 nuits ici et je serais bien restée un peu plus... 😊 Je recommande totalement !

Large room, great AC & breakfast. Very comfortable & clean. Big balcony. Helpful host. Can walk 20mins to Jungle Beach via a cut through. Close walk away from the bus station to get to nearby cities.

− The bathroom smelt a little musty after use. But there is an extractor fan & window in there so not sure what else they could do to reduce it. It’s also up a steep hill. Be mindful of that when carrying luggage.

I stayed at Rock Side Inn for 10 nights, and I truly loved my time here. The whole family is incredibly kind and helpful, they assisted me with everything I needed during my stay. On my last day they even helped arrange a driver for me, which was a huge help. The room is new, the bed is large and very comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the WiFi is strong. There is also reliable hot water and good water pressure. From the terrace you can enjoy the beautiful nature. I saw monkeys, squirrels, and many birds, which made the experience even more special. If you are staying in Unawatuna and looking for a peaceful, nature close accommodation, I highly recommend this place. The breakfast is delicious, and homemade. There is also access to the kitchen and bottled water is available. Thank you for everything!

Very quiet uphill, delicious breakfast, clean and large room

− It's quite far from the beach, the short cut takes 15+ minutes and there's no fixed road and lighting.

Un paradiso in mezzo alla giungla, la struttura è perfetta in ogni cosa, camera pulitissima e soprattutto nuova, dotata di ogni servizio, sembra una camera di hotel, zero insetti e zero disservizi cosa spesso è probabile in altre zone, davvero oltre le aspettative. La famiglia marito, moglie e figli, ospitali e gentili in tutto, persone eccezionali, sono stata accolta meravigliosamente, il marito mi è venuto a prendere alla fermata del bus e mi ha dato tutti i consigli per gli spostamenti successivi e per le visite lì vicino, la moglie mi ha cucinato deliziosamente ogni cosa, provate almeno un pasto da loro perché davvero eccezionali, mi hanno anche offerto un assaggio della loro cena a seguito di un mio desiderio. Davvero il soggiorno migliore avuto in Sri Lanka, e ne ho girati di posti avendo avuto un mese a disposizione. Ho adorato tutto, la vista sulla fitta vegetazione, il suono degli uccelli e la visione degli animali al risveglio ogni mattina, colazione sul balcone di fronte la mia stanza. Io mi sono spostata sempre a piedi, per gli amanti delle passeggiate la posizione è comoda, a 10 minuti dalla strada principale con negozi, 20/30 da Unawatuna beach, e circa 20 minuti (30 per i più lenti) per raggiungere la paradisiaca jungle beach con una scorciatoia nella giungla. Insomma non sono solita fare recensioni, ma questo posto è stata la mia ultima splendida tappa nello Sri Lanka e non potevo chiedere guest house migliore di questa. Grazie davvero per tutto.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy some nature. A small/medium walk away from the beaches. Amazing breakfasts and staff where we felt like part of the house. Opportunities to cook our own food too which was great. The place was clean, comfortable and full of life with neighbouring monitor lizards, monkeys and birds.
