9.0Beautiful house and a great breakfast—I loved the papaya juice! The hosts were very accommodating; they organized a safari for me at a very reasonable price, allowed me to charge my electric tuk-tuk, and suggested other activities like night bird watching. I wasn't interested in the latter, but there was no pressure at all—they have a very relaxed "if you want it, it's here; if not, no problem" attitude, which I really appreciated. The nearby lake, Debarawewa, is a real gem and offered the best photo opportunities I found around Tissamaharama. You can even see peacocks walking on the roof of the house! It’s only a 5-minute drive to town or the "Flying Foxes" tree (where bats wake up and fly off at sunset). Just a heads-up: don't swim or get too close to the water, as crocodiles live in the lake.

9.0Die Lage vom Birds View Hotel ist einfach zauberhaft. Direkt am See gelegen, die vielen wunderschönen Vögel samt Vogelkonzert war einfach wunderbar!! I'm See bitte nicht schwimmen!! Es leben Krokodile darin. Wir haben eins schwimmend in der Nähe der Lodge gesehen. Das Zimmer und Bad sind sehr sauber und über dem Bett hängt ein Moskitonetz. Das Bad ist geräumig und man kann auch heiß duschen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben dort Sri Lanka Frühstück genossen und das Dinner war auch sehr lecker! Ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt!

9.0Grande chambre, vue sur lac. Nous avons pu pêcher mais gare aux crocodiles ;-) Bons repas et copieux. Literie confortable. Safari à Yala top!
− Manque un peu de débit dans la salle de bain et eau tiède. Peu gênant car il faisait très chaud!

7.0Sehr freundlicher Besitzer, es werden Safari in den Yala Nationalpark, Vogelbeobachtungstouren und Nachttouren zur Großkatzenbeobachtung angeboten. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Portionen waren mehr als ausreichend. Man ist mitten in der Natur und kann von der Terasse aus schon einige Tiere beobachten, am See nebenan kann man auch Krokodile sehen.
− Die Zimmer könnten moderner sein, für den Preis braucht man aber auch keinen Luxus erwarten.

9.0Hotel très calme au cœur de la nature, près des lacs. Idéal pour observer les oiseaux. Le gérant est très serviable. Nous avons loué un scooter par son intermédiaire et pu sillonné les environs.
