8.0Unique, beautiful, and centrally located. The owner was very open and honest about construction across the street and provided a sound machine which helped a lot.
− Felt more like camping than a hotel, but didn’t mind this at all since only stayed for a couple nights. Wouldn’t want to stay longer without hot water or AC in the room. The door was hard to lock and was a pretty frustrating at times.

− The room has no glass in the windows, just netting which is fine. However, there is a building site opposite and the noise and dust (which starts around 6am) was horrendous. Was a real shame.

10.0Jen and La Quinta Orquidea were absolutely incredible! Loved the tour of the property n hearing a lil of the story of her place. Couldn’t have imagined a cooler place to stay. Perfect location for enjoying a cute fishing village just blocks away from the beach. Super well taken care of by super friendly staff. Even without AC the ocean breeze, the tapestries made it a beautiful spot to sleep. (We stayed in the rooftop penthouse) and my husband and I have never slept better. Been in a thousand hotels in different cities over the years but this might be my favorite. Glass bottle walls/art hidden in the stone made my heart soar.
− If I had to pick something and totally out of their control - temporary construction noise across the road but she kept us updated on their start/end times
