8.0Stayed 21 June 2025. Clean place. Very friendly and helpful lady host who speaks good English and assisted us to make enquiry for our subsequent accommodation. We paid for half board and it was totally worth it. 6 course western dinner on our first night and Japanese shabu shabu with full spread of sides on our 2nd night. Breakfast is plentiful too. The property is about 40 min drive to Hachimantai Dragon Eye. It is a pet-friendly accommodation. On our first night, many brought their well behaved furkids (dogs) along.

10.0The breakfast is fabulous, and all food comes from local sources. I love the way of living. The host will pick you up from the JR station and send you to the ski resort in the morning around 9:00 AM and pick you up at 16:00 or 16:30. The bath room is also pretty nice and comfortable. the room and loadge is pretty authentic.
− if you travel alone, you will only rely on the host to pick you up or the ski resort's shuttrle bus.

10.0Very friendly and helpful host that I have ever met in Japan. Fluent speaking english without problem in communication. Excellent and delicious meal without repeated, very full and satisfactory. Very nice stay, will be back.
− it would be better to add a curtain at the front door of the 風呂場 as if someone come in and open the door when I was taking off clothes, I could be seen easily.
