A Floating House in Amsterdam!
10.0We really enjoyed our stay at this unique floating house. It was conveniently located about a five minute walk to Bus 42 which would take you to the Central Train Station, which was close to the Old Town, lots of restaurants, museums, gorgeous churches, beautiful canals, and incredible architecture! The house in which we stayed was shared with one of their apartment and the home of the host. However, you had your own private entrance, and while there were no cooking facilities (outside of a refrigerator and microwave), every morning, the host had fresh croissants and pastries available for you. They were very responsive to any needs you may have and were very nice! The bed was incredibly comfortable. They had a nice seating area that was very comfortable also. In addition, the bathroom was very functional and the shower was wonderful. But realize, it is a smaller place to stay because it is in a floating house. But very, very doable for two people. Just a sidenote, we never felt any water movement at all.

9.0Practially everything. For me, excellent location in relation to Amsterdam Centraal and the IISH where I had to do some research.

10.0Very comfortable room and bathroom, good location, close to bus and tram. Lots of essential supplies like shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee, butter, jam, lunch bags, paper towel etc. Lots of towels, umbrellas, cutlery, cups and plates. Beds comfortable. Quiet location. Friendly host.
