A great stopover in Cambridge
9.0Cambridge Retreat was a great place for a stopover. The host was lovely and welcomed us into her home. It was very clean and easy walking distance to 2 restaurants and a small supermarket.
− A suggestion would be to have a TV mounted in the bedroom for guests to use and possibly a small fridge in the laundry/bathroom for guests to use.

Lovely hostess in homestay situation.
7.0The hostess, Margaret was lovely and welcoming. The place was very clean. The bathroom was excellent and some lovely lavender soap provided (you cannot purchase, so was very special). There were 2 good restaurants less than 2 minutes walk away. The beds were comfortable.
− I was not expecting a homestay situation, at all. A homestay is a different experience to the B and Bs I have previously experienced. The ad felt misleading. The original ad did not even indicate it was a Band B unless you looked really hard, nor was this mentioned even in the reviews. If you are into home-stays, you could not ask for more. No separate entry and parking was on street. No place in the room for luggage, or a luggage rack, but we could put luggage in another room
