Warm, welcoming and charming in quaint Clarens
9.0Highland Quarters is a cozy, safe and welcoming guest house with old-world charm. Everything was as good as, if not better than, expected. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and everything we needed was there. The staff were lovely and helpful and the scotch whisky bar and restaurant on-site, night time Security and location just off the main square were all added bonuses.
− If I had to think of anything I’d say having more TV channels available on the TV would have been great - seeings as it was the Wimbledon men’s final and Tour de France the night we stayed, and we couldn’t watch the tennis, or find any decent movies. But that’s really minor as could watch the tennis in the restaurant and had a laptop, with good WiFi, so it isn't so much a complaint as an observation. Hopefully most people plan to enjoy the town and surrounds, and not watch TV.
