Welcoming home stay with perfect views
10.0We had the best time! Imantha and his family were so welcoming and kind. The home stay is tucked away on one of the hills above Ella, so the views are fantastic. It is a short tuktuk ride down to Ella and about 15 min to 9 Arches Bridges. Imantha took us there and showed us around and arranged the whole next day for uns. Breakfast is awesome and the home dinner is delicious. 10/10

10.0Ons huisje zat op een geweldige plek met uitzicht over de bergen en de spoorlijn. De zonsopkomst was prachtig. Het huisje zelf ook. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs gratis minibar. Het ontbijt is mega uitgebreid. Vers gemaakt. Heel veel soorten fruit. De host is mega aardig en behulpzaam. Echt aanrader om te verblijven.

Five Stars and a Place in Our Hearts
10.0We couldn’t have met a nicer guest house family. Imantha and his family welcomed us as though we were old friends, always going out of their way to make us feel at home and helping with anything we needed. Our little room, perched high above Ella like a swallow’s nest, was wonderfully private, cozy, and peaceful. The deck outside, complete with a comfortable daybed overlooking the town, quickly became our favourite place to read, listen to the birds, and watch the monkeys pass by. Being so high up also meant cooler temperatures—a welcome escape after warm days exploring. The breakfast was simply outstanding, without question the best we enjoyed during our 20 days travelling through Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for genuine hospitality, a beautiful setting, and a stay that feels more like coming home than checking into accommodation, this is it. If we’re ever back in Ella, we already know exactly where we’ll be staying.

10.0Ein wahnsinnig schöner Ausblick auf die Bergregion Ella bei jeder Mahlzeit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das lokale Essen ist sehr lecker. Zimmer ist schön gestaltet, Bett ist ok.
