1.0The property and grounds were excellent overall
− The room that we were given was disgusting in every aspect there was NO space and the picture did not match the room, Toilet flooded, shower flooded this room has since been removed from booking.com. we stayed one night only because we could not find another room elsewhere, we left in the morning to a property that was cheaper and significantly better in almost ALL aspects. The pool was not usable as it was not heated and the outdoor shared kitchen was also not usable as it did not meet the basic level of hygiene. We agreed with the owner that giving us back 50% of our one week booking was fair for a one night stay, nearly 3 months later we got significantly less and a lot of excuses and lies, very sad................

5.0The pictures are as it is, it is a quiet space in the hills about 15mins drive from Loule with a useful little kitchen and a pool.
− There was an issue with my booking, this wasn’t resolved as I thought it had been by a telephone call a few days before my arrival. When I was showed around the property, including a double and two single rooms I unpacked in the double as per my booking, I received a few text messages saying that I owed extra money and that I was in the wrong room, it was unsettling and not very welcoming. No apology was made just an explanation that there was a booking error their end. As I have worked in hospitality for most of my life I can see that this is new to the hosts, I had to sort my own booking out for them, it wasn’t the relaxing get away I had hoped.
