A delightful place to stay.
10.0In a wonderful location, you have a large bedroom with big bed, a small dressing area, a sitting room with sofa, a bathroom with walk in shower. Lots of storage and hanging space. Everywhere is tastefully decorated and bright and cheerful. Plenty of mirrors, plug sockets and lovely views from the windows. There is a small dining area with fridge, microwave and cutlery, plates etc in case you want to make yourself something light to eat, or bring back a takeaway, and this doubles up as the room where the lovely Janice provides your cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, cereals and toast. Janice is a delight to chat to and has lots of ideas for your days out and we loved our daily chats with her over breakfast. She offers a laundry service for a small fee. In the local area The Sands Hotel was one of our favourite places for an evening meal and we had dinner there 4 times. Kirkwall is an easy 20 minute drive away too with lovely shops and places to eat.

10.0A very warm welcome from Janice. A kind host with lots of helpful information. Lovely house in a pretty setting. Excellent breakfast including delicious home grown strawberries. We greatly enjoyed our three nights stay.

10.0Everything you could wish for and more! The accommodation was fabulous and the host Janice was friendly and really helpful, The suite was comfortable and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and plentiful. The location was great for our excursions. It's the place to stay in Orkney.
