6.0The place is conveniently located, Alleppey beach, Lighthouse and Revi Karuna Karan memorial museum are within walking distance from it. The hotel is an old renovated building, with its ceiling built using wood. You can see old thick wood doors. At the entrance there is a decorative display with photos and sketches of Malayalam actors. Rooms are well maintained.
− The budget room does not have a geyser. We had not been told about this. Later the staff said they'll give hot water from neighbouring room. We went on Saturday. Next day the staff was nowhere to be found. We tried calling for hours, still nobody picked up phone. After searching through entire property we found the old lady owner, who told us that the staff was on leave. They could not understand Hindi or English well. We planned for early check out next day, so we asked them if they can reduce price for second day of stay. They agreed at first but at the last moment when we were checking out tried to increase the price. The old lady almost came behind us as if we were going to run away with their money, even though we had clearly communicated that we'll pay the balance amount at checkout.

8.0Such a beautiful heritage hotel, the garden area is a little oasis! The bed was comfortable and we were walking distance to the beach.
− Unfortunately we didn't have hot water and the shower head was quite blocked but other than thatbit was lovely
