A lovely small town, with a great atmosphere, near to a wide variety of amenities, very well served.
9.0Above and beyond expectations, making a cooked breakfast roll at 5:20 in the morning is totally unexpected, and delightful. A most warm and hospitable hostess, who was totally concerned of my wellbeing. Very recommended.
− Proximity to church clock bells ringing every quarter of the hour through the night, which was very still so the sound repeatedly woke, me. Not the fault of the owners.

Nice friendly atmosphere and place to stay.
8.0Nice size room. Bathroom clean. Nice views from windows. Central to a lot of places nearby so not much travelling.
− Had to ask for a few different things which were given straight away. Settee in wrong position and too big.
WE are pleased to have chosen The Bear-well done to the hosts!
8.0Veronica and Max were great hosts and passionate about what they do-wish them much luck for the future. Great breakfast too!
− Would update the decor in the room, some of it is looking very tired especially the brown rug, BUT bathroom was excellent! Church bells ringing every 15 minutes:( but this is not to detract from the hosts .
