A great base for exploring Miranda.
8.0Ellie was the consummate hostess and so interesting to chat with. Such a warm welcome. The accommodation was great. We had a very large room with a comfy bed and fluffy robes and slippers. A nice touch. The breakfast was lovely and really appreciated after an early morning start to catch the sunrise over the Shorebird sanctuary.
− Nothing we didn't like, although be aware that the private bathroom is not an ensuite, it is just down the hallway.
Great stay
10.0Warm welcome received. Nice airy room, well presented. Great breakfast. Ellie was a great host, full of advice of where to go and do. We stayed here not to be too far from Auckland airport. In the morning we went to the Pukorokero Miranda Shorebird Centre in the morning, brilliant visit to see migration birds. Then headed to the airport. If you are doing any of these things I definitely recommend a stay here.

9.0Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat uns mit allen möglichen Tipps versorgt, unter anderem mit dem panfried fish im nächstgelegenem Pub. Frühstück sehr gut, das Zimmer groß, ungewohnt das Bad/WC über den Gang, aber das war angekündigt.
An absolute pleasure. Loved meeting other people staying in the house too. A proper old school BnB.
7.0lovely friendly host - felt like being at home. This was more important to me than the facilities.
