Great relaxing stay. Had a library with honesty goods that made the evening complete. Location in center of town wax per
10.0Not sure where to start.This is an exceptional B and B. The rooms are lovely and comfy plus well appointed. The host is kind and very friendly. Breakfast was best of my stays over a week long period simply the best. She made dinner reservations for me which was deeply appreciated. Lunch was tasty and like the entire stay awesome.
Very welcome B&B after a long Wall walk
10.0Can’t say enough good things about Dacre House or the hospitality and flexibility that Clare provided. After walking Hadrians Wall for over 10 miles, we were tired and thirsty (for more than just water) and arrived about an hour earlier than check in, but Clare accommodated us with the on your honor bar, showed us to our room (where she and her husband had already lugged our exceptionally luggage up to) and booked dinner for us up the street. The room was outstanding: bed was super comfortable, room was spotless, bathroom very very large with great shower (I forgot to pull the shades down m, so may have given the neighbors across the street an unwelcome show). Breakfast was the best of any place we stayed at in our 2 months traveling the UK. We also appreciate how Dacre House promotes local establishments and other companies with products in the area All in all, easily 5+ stars and would 100% recommend.
