If you are looking for high quality accomodation in the Burford area, with lots of character and an amazing host, you should seriously consider staying at Pytts House Boutique Bed and Breakfast. It is a truly wonderful experience and it's a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds or simply for visiting Burford and its surrounding area. As it was our wedding anniversary weekend, I decided to book the King Suite with Balcony for 3 nights in mid July and my wife and I were absolutely delighted with this choice. The house dates from the 16th century and retains many of the original features. It is full of character, beautiful antiques and thoughtful details but also has the important modern essentials. It has 3 "special" bedrooms. Our room was large, had good hanging and storage space plus chairs and a stylish desk unit. The bed was large, comfortable and we were provided with 6 pillows. Our room had a beautiful tea set & plates plus water and wine glasses for us to use plus tea & coffee making facilities, with access to a fridge on the landing, shared by other guests. There was a regular supply of large bottles of water. A very effective electric fan was also provided, clearly important right now! The bathroom was large, too, with a bath and a separate spacious shower cubicle. A selection of excellent soft white towels were provided, including large bath sheets, as well as good size bath robes. The balcony is big enough to accommodate a small table and 2 chairs plus a parasol, as well as selection of plants and we enjoyed relaxing there a number of times during our stay. Anna is an exceptional host who made us feel very welcome from the time of our booking and throughout our stay. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality are first class. She serves a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast in the morning (according to your menu preferences).

Wir sind von Anna sehr liebevoll in Empfang genommen worden. Dieses ältere traumhaft schöne Haus ist mit so viel Liebe und Charm von Anna eingerichtet worden so dass wir uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Anna geht sehr auf persönliche Wünsche ein. Für einen privaten Anlass organisierte sie neben einem wunderbaren Frühstück einen tollen Blumenstrauß. Die Ausflugsziele und Restaurant Tipps von Anna waren großartig. Wir würden auf jeden Fall gerne wieder kommen.

We had a lovely stay at Pytts House. The property itself is a beautiful, interesting old building packed with character, and our room was excellent—spacious, comfortable, and very well-appointed. The real highlight, however, is the owner, Anna. She is an exceptional host who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome without ever being intrusive. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality really set this place apart. She also serves a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast in the morning that gave us the perfect start to the day. An extra, delightful touch was meeting her four little dogs. They act as her charming four-legged assistants and add a wonderfully unique, homely feel to the entire experience. If you appreciate historic charm, great rooms, excellent food, and top-tier hosting, Pytts House is a fantastic choice. We would gladly stay here again. — Kerry and Neil

Amazing attentive host who had thought of everything to give her guests a wonderful stay. Beautiful , relaxing setting, but within a short stroll into Burford Fabulous breakfast , enjoyed on the fabulous terrace. We didn’t want to leave and will look forward to returning
