9.0English breakfast was amazing. Room was comfortable. Staff were welcoming and caring. Great view from our window. If you like animals around you, this is the place to stay.

Fabulous hosts who make you feel so welcome. Had a stunning cooked breakfast in the mornings. Would stay here again.
10.0We wanted to climb Scarfell Pike and this was an easy drive from the farm which was perfect. Good pub a mile or so up the road also with nice menu choices . Our room was a lovely, big room & bathroom and with the most stunning views out. Loved being on a farm seeing all the ducks, chickens and sheep too.

10.0We did like the homely feel, beautiful view from the window. The peacefulness and the location. Clare was looking after us, she was so helpful as this was our first time in Lake District. We felt like staying with friends/family. We were very sad to leave and we promised ourselves to come back.
