10.0Lovely historic property in a beautiful little village, with welcoming hosts and delicious breakfast
We had a lovely 4 day break in this historic house with a wonderful host. We would happily stay there again.
10.0The property was full of history with a delightful spiral staircase to the bedrooms. Our room looked out over the church and we we able to park opposite off the road. Helen was a delightful host who was very friendly and full of useful information. The property is walking distance of three restaurants/pubs and we ate in all of them. The breakfasts at the property were excellent.
− Minor dislikes. We would have preferred a walk in shower rather than a bath although getting into the bath wasn’t too hard
Charming and comfortable
10.0Sykes House and its hosts Helen and Graeme are charming. We were very comfortable and the breakfast each morning was exceptional. We ended up staying an extra night because we enjoyed it so much. We will definitely come back if we can.
