Zentrum- und strandnahe Unterkunft mit feinem Frühstück
7.0Swanage ist eine gute Ausgangsbasis, um verschiedene Facetten der englischen Südküste zu entdecken. The Castleton liegt 15 Min Gehdistanz vom Zentrum, hat aber vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle, was für uns manchmal praktisch war. So konnten wir das Auto für mehrere Tage vor dem Hotel stehen lassen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer hell und sauber. Das Frühstück fanden wir ausgezeichnet.
− Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer, das keine Gemütlichkeit zuliess, Ein mittelgrosser Koffer konnte nur auf dem Bett vollständig geöffnet werden. An einem Abend und an einem Morgen konnten wir nur kalt duschen (was an sich bei den herrschenden Sommertemperaturen nicht so schlimm ist). Aus unserer Sicht erfüllt die Unterkunft die Kriterien an ein 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht.
