We got a message beforehand that the rooms were in a basement and not expect luxury. However the rooms were perfectly fine and bright enough. The hostess was very nice and helpful. She knew a lot about Denmark and Scandinavian history. It was very cool to hear things from a natives point of view. We were also allowed to use the washing machine and she turned on the heater especially for our clothes to dry fast, which was very thoughtful. It's also the cheapest B&B in the area, but everything is still provided for that price. Only 25 minutes away from Odense

− The pillows of the bed were a bit soft, but if you stay one or two nights it is comfortable enough!

We would not have chosen this room, if we had been aware that it was in the basement.

The breakfast was very good. The shower had lots of hot water. The host was very attentive. We were able to charge our electric bike batteries in the room.

− The bed was not comfortable and too small. The room was in a basement and felt musty. The noise from the water heater was loud, but did get turned off at my request. The son of the hostess did not explain to us how to lock the front door.

− We had a rather unpleasant stay. The host is a nice lady and the breakfast was good. However, the accomodation is much too expensive for what it is! The room is described as part of a person’s home and not luxurious, which is fine, we’ve had multiple stays like that. This one did not live up to the standards because you still expect some level of cleanliness and privacy, especially since it’s almost 70 euros per night so definitely not cheap. First of all, we did not feel like the room was very clean, we found other people’s hair at the foot end of the bed which made us really uncomfortable, the room was very damp and humid which also caused there to be a rather unpleasant smell. The bed itself was really uncomfortable since the slatted frame was broken so the bed was botched. The host’s son’s room is next to the b&b room and I still heard rummaging and talking at 1 am. We were glad we were just passing through and only had to spend 1 night here.
